We are a friendly inclusive club with a great range of knowledge and ability.
Our members use recurve, barebow, compound, longbow and american flat bow styles.
We pride ourselves that there is always someone to help, or to offer advice.
The objectives of the Club is to foster and promote a greater interest in archery as a hobby and to assist members to improve their archery skills and knowledge.
What We Do
Established in 1992, Welland Valley Archers maintains a membership of approximately 50 archers spread across our Junior and Senior divisions.
We cater for target archery and are proud to have members of the club in the county and regional archery squads and previously in England Team and GB Squads. We welcome new members of all levels of experience and ambition, and our qualified club coaches are always happy to help anyone who wishes to improve their shooting.

When We Shoot
We shoot most Saturdays throughout the year at Symington’s Sports Ground,
Competitions are held March to September on Saturday’s and Sunday’s at Symington’s Sports Ground and on average two Sunday’s a month October through to March Indoors at Meadowdale Primary School.
Why not take up Archery with a Beginners’ Course?
The total cost of the course is £35.00 per person, which is payable at the start of the first session. All equipment is provided for the duration of the course and it is run by qualified members of the club who are all DBS checked. We work to a strict Child Protection Policy and all children under the age of 13 are required to have a parent or guardian with them at all times (parents, if you are just coming to watch you might want to bring a chair, or why not sign up for the course yourselves!)
